I will be respectful as possible. I think all judges need to out their personal feelings aside and not to be distracted by a defendant's age or appearance. As the plaintiff or a defendant, somebody is not going to be happy. I always assumed if you lock and secure your home, no one is suppose to enter regardless of how long you are away. The biggest crime that can go undetected is when you have a vacant property that you don't visit daily. I appeared in Fulton County Probate against Glenn Marie Holmes. Ms. Holmes had met and befriended my deceased uncle and stole thousands from his account. I am aware of around or about figures but will not quote the amount because the actual number is not known to me. This lady was arrested inside the courthouse trying to file a fraudulent quit claim deed with my frail uncle with her. A supervisor from the deed room called up to the Honorable Post chambers and informed him up what was happening. Another supervisor visited the courtroom with the fraudulent deed at which time it was denied and never filed. Ms. Holmes had no idea 67 family members, a bank manager and 3 VA doctors were present testifying the deceased had been suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia for years and could not make any decisions on his own. My loving relative Walter Jordan, my mother Juanita Alexander and others always took care of my uncle. Walter Jordan was his main c caregiver and others filled in as needed. Ms. Holmes left the state if Georgia and was ducking and dodging police. Ms. Holmes was unaware how large the Jordan Alexander family was and showed up and filed a petition to probate a will. So, if the quit claim deed was fraudulent how is a will valid 7 years later from a deceased person you had no contact with. The quit claim deed to my understanding was dated June 25, 1995 and the alleged will was dated April 7, 1995. Interesting. My aunt Ella Alexander passed in March of 2009. She had always lived in the subject property and Ms. Holmes had NEVER lived there. In fact the family doesn't know her with the accepting of her stealing from my uncle. Her Facebook stated she an associate pastor at first Baptist Church Warrington. I personally contacted the church and spoke with the first lady who stated her husband was the only pastor and Ms. Holmes was a member. Ms.Holmes waited until know family members were in site and the house was locked and broke in and changed the locks. She rented the property out to several people and had them as well as others to wire her money to Florida. At some point Ms. Holmes assumed she was smarter than me . She assumed when she looked online and the probate case showed open it was because of the fraudulent will she filed. For whatever reason, she assumed the case would show open forever and the property would be tied up. WRONG. She appeared in court on December 5 2016 in front of Honorable Judge Margolis. The Court initially started off and was on point with the law. The Det Jones of zone one Atlanta Police Department testified he didn't apply for the warrant because the property was in my deceased uncle name. Well in Georgia if relatives are not at odds and agree, the deed does not have to be changed. The property was a family house. The deed was quit claimed over to me by each and all of my relatives which would have been eventually done. At some point during the hearing the court turned and appeared to favor Ms. Holmes. He stated he had an issue with the time frame then he stared Ms. Holmes was in the property during the time her case was pending in Probate. The fact is Ms. Holmes abandoned her case. The i recorded her telling me some unknown attorney who represented her told her to wait 20 years or until all the family dies and break in the property. I have and was prepared to produce emails if her saying the property was willed to her and her attorney had the will. Again no attorney appeared on her behalf and this will still has not been produce. Careful with this judge asked for court reporter

Andrew didn't listen to a word of what I said. ..in my case. I was not guilty from the start but he was more concerned with winning a case than he was with the damage of a false charge to his client. VERY POOR INTEGRITY

  • Andrew Margolis did an excellent job on my case. He managed to get the charges against me dropped before we ever made it to trial. He was in constant contact, his fee was far less than many others that quoted me, and he was on time and prepared. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a really good lawyer!
