- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Do NOT tame your money here. The lady, which the term should be used loosely, took $50 of my check to cash, when she never physically cashed the check, and then $3 to load it onto my Ace Elite debit card. I asked her why the $50 check cashing fee when she clearly didn't actually physically "cash" it. I also asked her why I had not been informed of this before. I called Ace's customer service who told me they couldn't help me, and to call Net Spend. I called Net Spend who then informed me that Ace was solely responsible for any check cashing fees which made sense to me. I called Ace a second time and got no help. I don't understand how I can take a picture of a check and not incur mote than the reliad fee, but hand a physical chexk2to a woman in thw store and be charged $50. This is ridiculous! I am definitely taking my check elsewhere for being misinformed on multiple occasions, and then offered no help in underatanding this procedure. Ace is horrible.
