  Applying for SSDI is at best – an overly complicated process as is the case with most government based programs. I knew this was something I would not be able to tackle on my own. I contacted LaVan and Neidenberg and was assigned my case worker – Teresa McGill. Teresa has been so very helpful, patient and kind during this very long and complicated process. I live in Georgia and it is one of the very worst states in the country – if not the worst – in the amount of time and trouble it takes to successfully litigate an SSDI claim. It took almost (3) years to finally receive a fully favorable decision from the courts. You can imagine that Teresa and I spoke on numerous occasions over this (3) year period. She was always attentive to my questions and concerns. The process had a lot of lows and highs and she was always there for me to explain what our next step would be. She showed a lot of patience as I was not always very happy with the way the government handles SSDI claims in Georgia. This marathon was finally successful and I am very happy I stuck with this effort. I wanted to just quit and give up but Teresa was always there to refocus me to our eventually successful outcome.   i dont even know why they even have a rating if i could give them a negativethen that would be the score having retained these bozos 3 years ago i only met my attorney 15 minutes before wlking into my hearing which was a very intimedating experience.would recomend a local attorney with great customer service they are jokes all ga. attorneys know of this firm please do you research before chosing this law firm. really peopleim not a paid actor but a very dissatisfied client
